Friday                                           [SEND THE LIGHT]
[Become blameless and harmless,children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world](Philippians 2:15]. Read (Philippians 2:12-18)
American businessman Mark Bent has spent $250,000 to develop and manufacture an affordable solar-powered flashlight. Thousands have been distributed free or at low cost to people living in African refugee camps. One daily solar charge provides 7 hours of life-giving illumination for people in homes, schools, and medical clinics where darkness had encouraged crime and violence.
The contrast between darkness and light is a prominent image in the Bible's presentation of Jesus the Messiah. [The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined](Isaiah 9:2).[ In (Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men, and the light shines in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it](John1:4-5
It's our privilege as followers of Jesus to be His light-bearers today .
Paul urged the Christians in Philippe to become “ blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as light in the world”
Instead of being afraid or oppressed by the spiritual darkness around us, we can rely on the Grace that God gives His children to shine for Him) __ David McCasland.

ودعوته لهم تضمنت ليس فقط أن أسماءهم مكتوبة في سفر الحياة, ولكن أيضاً تسجيل أسمائهم في سجلات ألوحي ألخالدة للكنيسة على ألأرض.

عظماء ألعالم قد زالت عظمتهم وأختفت أسماؤهم, بينما أسماء بطرس وأندراوس ويعقوب ويوحنا سوف تلمع في ملكوت ألآب عندما تنزل أورشليم ألسماوية من ألسماء لتكون قاعدة ألملكوت, حينما يُقام بالمجد والقوّة في صورته ألعلنيّة حيث نقرأ

(( وسور ألمدينة كان له إثنا عشر أساساً وعليها أسماء رسُل ألخروف ألإثني عشر))

[رؤيا يوحنا14:21], حيث تقرأ ألأرض أسماء أولئِكَ ألجليليين ثانية.

ويأخذ ألتقدير ألإلهي أنظارنا من ألوقتي وألزائِل إلى ألروحي وألأبدي فنرى آلالام ألحاضِرة تتحول إلى ثُقل مَجدٍ أبدي . آمين

The Differences Between God of The Bible

And god of The Quran(Allah)

Peter says in (1Peter1:15-16)[ But just as He who called you is Holy, so be Holy in all you do,for it is written” Be holy, because I am Holy”].

The God of Israel and of the Christians church is Holy. He sets the standard for morality. Unlike the Roman gods, He is not war like,adulterous,or spiteful.

Unlike gods of pagan cults popular in the 1^st. Century. He is blood thirsty or promiscuous. He is a God of mercy and justice who cares personally for each of His followers.

# God in the Bible is three persons [THE FATHER] [THE SON] [THE HOLY

SPIRIT](Matthew 28:19/3:16-17)(Genesis 1:26).

* But the Quran's Allah is not trinitarian .

# God of the Bible says[Love your enemies and pray for those who prosecute you](Matthew 5:44) spreading peace and forgiveness .

* But the Quran's Allah says[ An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth].

Encouraging the revenge and killing and hate.

# God of the Bible laid the foundation of the relationship between man and

woman in marriage and His idea about that built in commitment, romance, great joy, faithfulness, and trust. Only death should dissolve marriage (Genesis 2:22-24).

* But the Quran's Allah allows the Muslim to married up to four wifes and have sex with any of female servants and slaves .

This issue is very sensitive and it touches the values and the foundation of the family that every member in it is son of God.

If we read in the Quran, we see big difference of the Deity's behavior between Allah that says and does things that the God of the Bible never say or do . For example:

1- Allah(of Quran) asked the angles to worship Adam at his creation( Surah 15:

26-35) .

# But God of the Bible forbids human to worship other human(Acts 10:25-26/ 14:14-15). and forbids human to worship angles(Colossi ans 2: 18)(Revelation 19:10/ 22:8-9). and most certainly, angles are not to worship mere

human because the whole and complete worship should be directed to

AI Mighty God(Deuteronomy 16:13/ 10:20).

2- In the Quran says : beat your wifes when they are disobediences (Suraht Alnisaa: means women 4:34).

# In the Bible, God says[ Love your wife as Christ love the church. He gave His life for it](Ephesians 5:25).

3- In Quran says: Allah did not take to himself a son ( sura 25:2) .

# In the Bible we see (John 3:16)[For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. That whoever believe in Him shall not parish but have eternal live].

4- In Quran says: And their saying : surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Mariam, the apostle of Allah, and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him. But it appeared to them so(like Isa).(sura 4:157).

# In the Bible the Christian's faith built s on the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The Holy Scriptures teach that Jesus the Lamb of God was crucified 2000 year

ago for the sins of mankind. (1John2:2) testifies, and (Romans 6:23) says that

Jesus came to wash our sins by death on the Cross.

# (John 17:3) proves the Deity of the Son Jesus Christ. Jesus statement in this

verse denies the deity of all other gods. Since this chapter illustrates that (Allah of Islam) is not (The God Of The Bible). There is only one conclusion

can be made.

* According to ( Exodus 20:2-3)[ I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me].

* (Deuteronomy6:4) [ Hear, O, Israel: The LORD our God. The LORD is one].

* (Deuteronomy 32:39)[ See now that I my self am He, There is no god besides

me].

* (Isaiah 44:5)[ This is what the LORD says-- Israel's King and Redeemer, the

LORD Al Mighty. I am the First and I am the Last, apart from me there is no God].

* (John 17:3)[ Now this is eternal life: that they may know you ,the Only True

God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent].

The LORD God of the Bible and His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ reject

Allah of the Quran. Allah is not a true G(g)od there for , he is a false god.

This conclusion goes for any other religious gods or gurus or teachers that been worshiped in the world for all times.

Thursday                    What is your life? It is even a vapor.(James 4:14)

Read James4:13-17

[The Other Side]

When someone said to my friend,(see you in year), it sounded odd when he replied(Yes, see you on the other side). He meant that he'd see him on the other side of a one- year deployment for the US Navy. But because the phrase is often used of heaven, it made me think about the uncertainty of life. I wondered;Who will be here in another year ? Who might by then be on the other side-in heaven?.

We certainly don't know what the next year-- or hour-- will bring. In this epistle, James wrote about this uncertainty. He rebuked the greedy merchants for boasting about what they would do that day, the next day, or even the next year(4:13). Their sin wasn't that they were making plans, it was forgetting God and arrogantly boasting about those business plans. James reminded them:(What is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away)(v.14). Commentator Peter Davids says that James was pointing out their foolishness and saying, in essence,(Come now, you who make plans-- you don't even understand how little control you have over life itself). No part of life is outside the control of God. So when we make plans, we need to remember,(If the Lord wills,we shall live and do this or that)(v.15)_Anne Cetas.

Tomorrow's plans I do not know,

I only know this minute;

But He will say “ This is the way,

By faith now walk ye in it” _ Ryberg.

علينا أن نَشهَد عن صلاح الله في كل المناسبات,ونُعلِن أنَّهُ صالِح سواء فَهمنا مُعاملاته معنا أم لم نفهمها,لأننا((نعلم أن كل ألأشياء تعمل معاً للخير للذين يحبون ألله)[ألرسالة إلى روما28:8].

دعنا لا نرتاب في صلاح ألله حتى عندما يتلبَّد ألجو بالغيوم.قد تحجُب ألظروف صلاح ألله عن ألعين إلى لحظة, لكن علينا أن نثق في صلاحِهِ مهما كانت ألأحوال. عندما تحجب الغيوم الداكنة نور الشمس عنَّا, فإننا لا نَشُكُّ لحظة أنَّ ألشمس ما زالت خلف تلك ألغيوم ألكثيفة, وأنَّهُ سيأتي في وقت فيهِ تشرُق من جديد بأشعتها ألذهبية. هكذا نحن في وسط المِحن ألقاسية, وبينما تُدمي أشواك ألبريَّة أقدامنا,فإننا نؤمِن كل ألإيمان بمحبَّة ألله وصلاحِهِ. إنَّ صلاح ألله ينبغي أن يُقابَل بِشُكُر ألمؤمِن كل أيام السنة وكل ساعات أليوم, وكل دقائِق ألساعة, وكل لحظات ألدقيقة. ومعَ أنَّ تدابير ألله تختلف, ومعاملاتِهِ تتباين, ولكن قلبهِ صالِح أبداً وطبيعتهِ لا تتغيَّر.فلنثِق فيهِ دائِماً. آمين

(Short story on Faith)

I grew up going to church. Every Sunday my family was there, listened to thing we didn't understand. Yet in all those years, I don't remember hearing the right message of the Christ explained. I never heard and understand the Gospel. Christmas was always about presents and new clothes, and Ester about bunnies and eggs(believe it or not!!!), with neither day resulting in any spiritual impact on my life.

As I grew, I detached myself from the church, and drifted far away from the moorings of religion, which felt incredibly empty and void of meaning or power or life. I graduated from college and found a job, and looking for answers to my faith and found none.

Then an event happened that changed the path of my life. I was doing a survey for a gas company in West Virginia, and I had to climb a railroad bridge over a dry creek as a part of the job. I don't remember how it happened, but the news later said that the wind was so bad that knocked me from the bridge. I bounced a little before I landed on my neck in the dry creek. I ended in the hospital for more than three months I never thought about it as a miracle and God saved my life for a reason till one day the wife of an older man (that was shearing my room)came to me and looked down into my face and said” My husband just told me what happened to you. We believe God spared your life for He wants to use you. We've been praying for you and we will continue to pry for you.

The lying in hospital with neck traction gave me a lot of time to think.

My searching for meaning of the faith lead me to a church that taught the Bible and a different job with a Christian and I ended up in a Christian college, for all I start hearing the Gospel explained and for the first time in my entire Christian life I discovered who is JESUS CHRIST. and I became a true follower of Christ no matter which church I attend.

Now when I look back into the path of my life, I think of the emptiness of religion. But that has been replaced by the fullness of Calvary. And the changes that happened in my life are because the patience and loving kindness of the Holy God who knowing the depth of my sins, sent His Son to die on a Cross because He was “not willing that any thing should perish but that all[including me] should come to repentance”(see 2Peter 3:9).Now almost  3 years later, I deeply value all people and events that shaped my faith, But it is Christ and His powerful love that have given my life the meaning and significance it never had. All because of the Cross. All because, in His majesty, He came to be my Savior.

1- What is the Holy Trinity ?
One of many names of God : meaning God in three persons : God
the Father – God the Son – God the Holy Spirit .
As (Matthew 28:19) says [ Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit ].

2- How many Gods in there ?
Only one God not three Gods. Because (Matthew 28:19) did not say((( go baptize them in the NAMES of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit)).That means ONE GOD IN THRE PERSONS.

3- Is three Gods in here ?
No, there is only one God. For it says in (Deuteronomy 6:4) [ Hear ,
O, Israel : The LORD our God , The LORD is One ].
But the Holy – Trinity is one many secrets of God that will be reaveld to us later as it says in(1Cornthians 13:12) [ Now we see but
a poor reflection as in a merrior: then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part:then I shall know fully,even as I am fully known]

4- What other name God uses ?
(YAHWEH) is the Hebrew word for ( I AM). As it says in (Exodus
3:14) [God said to Moses: (I AM WHO I AM) . This is what you are to say to the Israelites ( I AM) has sent me to you].
This name (YAHWEH) shows the unchanging nature of God and His wisdom spans the ages and His promises give meaning and direction to our lives.

5- Is there any time that God was not existent?
No, there was no time that God was not exist in it or before it because God is eternal( Has no beginning and no ending). So the
Holy–Trinity (Father,Son,and Holy Spirit) is eternal .As it is written
in (Psalm 90:2)[ Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world,from everlasting to everlasting you are God]. And there is absolutely nothing eternal except the One God.

6-Are the three persons of the Holy Trinity in agreement?
Yes, They are in absolute agreement because (simply) They are not three but One God and have one will and one authority and one power in one glory as it is written in (Isaiah 6:3) [Holy, Holy,Holy is
the LORD Al-Mighty : The whole earth is full of His glory].

7- What is the name of the 1st. Person of the Holy Trinity? Why?
God the Father, because He is the Father of God the Son, our Lord
Jesus Christ. As it say in(John3:16)[For God so loved the world that
He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life]. And Paul in (2Corinthians 1:3)says
[ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ......].

8- What is God the Father for God the Son and the Holy Spirit?

God the Father(in the Eastern Orthodox theology) is the (Arch e) or
( Principium) means (beginning), the source or origin of both God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

9- Who is the 2nd. Person of the Trinity? How?

According to the Bible the second person is the Son of God because
of His eternal relation to the first person (God the Father).
God the Son came to earth and manifested as human and become our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So He is all God as (John 1:1) says[In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God]. And the same time all human as Paul says
in(Romans 1:3-4)[ Regarding His Son, who as to His human nature
was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God].

10-who is the Holy Spirit?

God the Holy Spirit is the 3rd. Person of the three divine persons of
the Holy – Trinity ,who make up the single substance of God.
The Holy Spirit coordinate in act with and share an essential nature
with God the Father and God the Son.
The Holy Spirit comes out of the Father .and leads people to faith in Jesus
and gives them the ability to live a Christian life style.
Our bodies are the temple of God the Holy Spirit as Paule says in
(1Cornthians 3:16)[Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?].
And Jesus called Him the Paracletus(means the Counselor)as in
(John 14:26)[But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you
of everything I have said to you].

1- آمِنْ بألإنجيل (1كورنثوس 1:15-2)[ على إني أُذكرَّكم أيُّها ألإخوة بألإنجيل ألذي

بَشَرتُكُم بِهِ وقَبلتموه وما زِلتُم قائِمينَ فيهِ, وبِهِ أيضاً أنتُم مُخَلَّصون, إن كُنتُم تتمَسَكونَ بألكَلِمة ألتي

بَشَرتُكُم بِها , إلاَّ إذا كُنتُم قَد آمَنتُم عَبَثاً ].

وآمِنْ بأنَّ ألمسيح قَد مات لأجلِ غَسِل خطايانا وخطايا ألعالَم , دُفِنَ وقامَ مِنَ

ألقَبر بَعدَ ثلاثة أيام , وَصَعَدَ إلى ألسماء وجَلَسَ مِن يمين ألله( مرقس16:16)

[(قالَ يسوع لَهُم):مَنْ آمَنَ وتَعمَّد, خَلَصَ, ومَنْ لَم يؤمِنْ فَسوفَ يُدانُ ].

2- إعتَرِف بألمسيح رَبَّاً (ألرسالة إلى روميّة 9:10-10)[إنَّكَ إن إعتَرَفتَ بِفَمَكَ بيسوع رَبَّاً,

وآمنتَ في قَلبكَ بِأنَّ ألله قد أقامَهُ مِن ألأموات , نُلتَ ألخلاص].

وهوَ إبن ألله ألحَي(أعمال ألرسُل37:8)(متي 16:16) [فأجابَ سمعان بُطرُس قائِلاً ( أنتَ هوَ

ألمسيح إبن ألله ألحيَّ!)].

3- تُبْ عَن خطاياكَ بألإعتراف بِها أمام ألله وأُطلُب ألمغفِرة لَها(لوقا 3:13) [أقولُ

لَكُم:لا, ولَكِن إن لَم تَتوبوا أنتُم فَجميعَكُم كذَلِك تَهلَكونَ!].(أعمال ألرُسُل 38:2) [أجابَهُم بُطرُس:

توبوا, وليتَعمَّد كُلِّ واحِدٍ مِنكُم بإسمِ يسوع ألمسيح, فَيَغـفِـر ألله خطاياكُم وتنالوا هِبة ألروح ألقُدُس]

4- إجعَلْ ألمسيح رَبَّاً وَمَلِكَاً على حياتَك وَمَجِّد ألله في كُلَّ أعمالِكَ أليوميَّة

(متي33:6) [أمَّا أنتُم , فإطلُبوا أوَّلاً مَلَكوت ألله وبِرِّهِ, وَهَذِهِ كُلُّها تُزادُ لَكُم].

5- إدعو ألروح ألقُدُس ليُجَدِّد حياتِكَ ويجعَلَكَ خَليقَةٌ جديدة في ألمسيح

(ألرسالة إلى غلاطية27:3) [ لأنَّكُم جميع ألَّذينَ تَعمَّدتُم في ألمسيح , قَد لَبَستُم ألمسيحَ].

(ألرسالة ألثانية إلى كورنثوس17:5)[ فإنَّهُ إذا كانَ أحَّدٌ في ألمسيح, فَهوَ خَليقَةٌ جَديدَةٌ, إنَّ ألأشياء

ألقدِ يمة قَد زالَت, وها كُلُّ شِيءٍ قَد صَارَ جَديداً]. آمين
