FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD 1 What is the burnt of fellowship offering ? --In(Exodus 20:24) The Text says, “Make an altar of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name to be honored,I will come to you and bless you”.
*A person gave a fellowship (or peace)offering as an expression of gratitude and a means of maintaining fellowship between himself and God. The animals' sacrificed life emphasized the value of gratitude and maintaining harmony with God. Neither peace with God nor thanks to God was to be considered a cheap or unimportant gift. Because it's symbolized peace with God. And Jesus Christ is the only way to fellowship with God. 2-- How Jesus Christ is the only way to fellowship with God?. --In (Acts 4:12) The Text says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” * Many people react negatively to the fact that is no other name than that of Jesus Christ to call on for salvation. Yet this is not something the church decided: it's the specific teaching of Jesus Himself (John 14:6). If God designated Jesus to be the savior of the world,no one else can be His equal. Christians are to be open-minded on many issues, but not on how we are saved from sin, no other religious teacher came to earth as God's only Son, no other religious teacher rose from the dead. Our focus should be on Jesus, whom God offered as the way to have an eternal relationship with Himself. There is no other name or way. 3 How Jesus Christ is the last sacrifice to re council us to God?. In(Leviticus1:2) The Text says, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: when any of you brings offerings to the LORD bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock”.
*Animal sacrifice accomplished two purposes:
1- The animal's symbolically took the sinner's place and paid the penalty for sin. 2- The animal's death represented one life given so the other life could be saved. This method of sacrifice continued throughout Old Testament times. It was effective in teaching and guiding the people and bringing them to back God. But in New Testament times. Christ's death became the last sacrifice needed. He took our punishment once and for all. Animal's sacrifice is no longer required. Now any person can be free from the penalty of sin by simply believing in Jesus, acknowledging Jesus' sacrifice in his or her place and accepting the forgiveness Jesus offers.
In (Colossi ans 1:19-20) The Text says, “For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.” * Christ's death provided a way for all people to come to God. It cleared away the sin that keeps us from having a right relationship with our creator. This does not mean that everyone has been saved. We can have peace with God and be reconciled to Him by accepting Christ,Who died in our place is there distance between you and the creator?. Be recoiled to God. Come to Him through Christ.
In (2 Corinthians 5:18) The Text says, “All this is from God , who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”
* God brings us back to Himself( reconciles us) by blotting out our sins and making us righteous. We are no longer God's enemies, or strangers or foreigners to Him, when we trust in Christ. Because we have been reconciled to God, we have the privilege to encouraging others to do the same, and thus we are those who have the” ministry of reconciliation.”
