The Trinity

Why trinity is not like believing in three Gods?

1.In (Matthew 3:16;17) the text says “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of water. At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I well pleased.” * The doctrine of the Trinity, which appeared later in church history teaches that GOD is three persons yet one in essence. In the passage , all three persons of the Trinity present and active . God the Father speaks; God the Son is baptized; God the Holy Spirit descends on Jesus. God is one yet in three persons at the same time, this is one of God's incomprehensible mysteries. 2.In(Matthew 28:19) the text says”There fore go and make disciples of all nations. baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. *Jesus words affirms the reality of the Trinity. Some people accuse theologians of making up the concept of the Trinity and reading it into Scripture. As we see here, the concept comes directly from Jesus Himself. He did not say baptize them into the names, but into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The word Trinity does not occur in Scripture, but it well describes the three-in-one nature of the Father-Son-and Holy Spirit. 3.In (Mark 1:10-11) the text says “As Jesus was coming out of water, He saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven” you are my Son, whom I love, with you I am well pleased”. *The Spirit descended like a dove on Jesus, and the voice from heaven proclaimed the Father's approved of Jesus as His divine Son. Here we see all three members of the Trinity together. God the Father , God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. 4.In (John 15:26) the text says “When the counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father .He will testify about me.” *Here again the Trinity is clear that the Spirit goes out from the Father and Jesus the Son who will send to the disciples the Counselor(The Holy Spirit). 5.In (Acts 1:4-5) the text says”On one occasion, while He was eating with them, He gave them His commend”Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about, John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” *The Trinity is a description of the unique relationship of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If Jesus had stayed on Earth, His physical presence would have limited the spread of the Gospel, because physically He could be in only one place at a time. After Christ was taken up into heaven, He would be spiritually present everywhere through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was sent so that God would be with and within his followers after Christ returned to heaven. The spirit would comfort them, guide them to know His truth, remind them of Jesus's words, give them the right words to say, and fill them with power. 6. In (1 Corinthians 12:4-13) the text says, “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.”
*No matter what gift(s) a person has, all spiritual gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit decides which gifts each believer should have. We are responsible to use and sharpen our gifts, but we can take no credit for what God has freely given us. 7. In (2 Corinthians 13:14) the text says, “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” *Paul's farewell blessing invokes all three members of the Trinity-Father (God), Son (Lord Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. Although the term Trinity is not explicitly used in scripture, verses such as this one show that it was believed and experienced through knowing God's grace, love and fellowship. (See Luke 1:35, the angel Gabriel's announcement of Jesus's birth to Mary; Matthew 3:17, the Father's voice heard at the baptism of Jesus; and Matthew 2:19, Jesus's commission to the disciples. 8. In (Ephesians 2:18) the text says, “For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” *Here St. Paul says that through Jesus (the Son) we can come to the Father and by one Spirit (the Holy Spirit) show the Trinity in just one verse of his letter to the Ephesians. 9. In (1 Thessalonians 1:2-5) the text says, “We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit, and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.” *The Holy Spirit changes people when they believe the Gospel. When we tell others about Christ, we must depend on the Holy Spirit to open their eyes and convince them that they need salvation – God's power changes people – not our cleverness or persuasion. Without the work of the Holy Spirit, our words are meaningless. The Holy Spirit not only convicts people of sin but also assures them of the truth of the Gospel. 10. In (1 Peter 1:2) the text says, “Who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood.” *This verse mentions all three members of the Trinity – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. All members of the Trinity work to bring about our salvation. The Father chose us before we chose him (Ephesians 1:4). Jesus Christ the Son died for us while we were still Sinners (Romans 5:6-10). The Holy Spirit brings us the benefits of salvation and sets us apart (sanctifies us) for God's service (2 Thessalonians 2:13). 11. In (1 John 5:7) the text says, “For there are three that testify in heaven. The Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.” *That very direct and clear words from John about the doctrine of the Trinity that has been written in 1st century and taught in that time. John mentions three person the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 12. In (Revelation 1:4) the text says, “John. To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the Kings of the Earth.” *The Trinity – The father (Him who is, and who was, and who is to come), The Holy Spirit (The seven spirits), and the Son (Jesus Christ) – is the source of all truth (John 14:6, 17)(1 John 2:27)(Revelation 19:11). Thus we can be assured that John's message is reliable and is God's word to us.
